The Department of Architecture at Aalto University is seeking for Associate or Full professor in Urban Planning. The call is open for associate and full professor levels of theAalto University tenure track system. The position will begin 1 August, 2025, or as agreed. The professorship is full-time.The professorship focuses on educating urban and regional planners and researching the field. Call for Proposals open! 'Cultures of Care' - Imagining Care through Design: Open Electives 2024 from 09th to 20th December 2024 by our member National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad!The Annual Open Electives organised by National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, India (with campuses in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, & Bengaluru) will be held this year from the 09th to 20th December 2024 in on-campus / offline mode for the second-year Bachelors students and first-year Masters students of NID at its Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru campuses. The primary theme for this year’s Open Elective 2024 is ‘Cultures of Care'- Imagining Care through Design, and we hope that practitioners from various domains will resonate with the idea and send proposals. It is an invitation to explore creative responses on the theme of Care and its interpretations from practitioners across various domains. The elective is envisaged as a trans-disciplinary space where varied vantage points, knowledge systems, philosophies, expertise, inquiries, curiosities and practices converge towards a holistic deliberation on Cultures of Care.
