It is a must-win for Florida State softball in Game 2 of the NCAA super regional. After being shut down by Oklahoma in Game 1, the Seminoles must beat the Sooners to extend the series to a decisive Game 3, which would be on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Jaysoni Beachum was on the verge of her second solo home run of the night, but centerfielder Jayda Coleman shut the door with a leaping homerun saved catch, giving Oklahoma's first out of the innings.

Fortunately enough, FSU got a home run anyway, thanks to the hands of Kalei Harding. Florida State cut Oklahoma's lead in half with two outs left. Freshman Isa Torres doubled on the next bat after Michaela Edenfield ground out.

The inning ended with Devyn Flaherty grounded out with the score remaining 4-2.

It will be the Sooner's only score as Reid threw her strikeout to end the third inning.

Florida State misses opportunity to score runs

Similar to Thursday night, FSU has found ways to get on base. However, when the bases were loaded, the Seminoles failed to score some runs.

The last out was on a pop-up fly. The game remains scoreless, heading into the top third.
