Stopping Righteous Fire: Righteous Fire will continue to drain the player's HP until there is only 1 HP left, at which point it will turn off. The effect can be ended prematurely by any effect which removes burning, such as flasks with the "dousing" suffix.
Righteous Fire is a spell that applies a buff on the player, rapidly burning the player and nearby enemies. The damage it deals scales with your Life and Energy Shield amount. It also grants more spell damage to the user while active.
Immolate will only increase the damage of skills capable of hitting, so skills such as Scorching Ray and Righteous Fire receive no benefit from the added damage. The added damage only applies if the enemy is burning, such as if they are Ignited.
Each supported skill has an internal damage counter that tracks the total accumulated damage taken from hits. Damage over time and non-damage loss do not contribute to this counter, i.e. you cannot use Righteous Fire to trigger Cast when Damage Taken. All damage counters will be reset to 0 upon entering a new area.
Act 4 is where you hit level 36 and can switch to using Righteous Fire. As per Act 3, continue to pick up items to have as many options as possible to gear with when you're making the switch to RF.
Transfigured skill gems are alternate versions of existing skill gems, denoted by having "of X" as a suffix that alters its function and balance. While they are technically the same item as their default versions, they can often drastically change the identity of the skill, even changing its gem tags and mechanics.
The base duration of ignite is 4 seconds. The burning damage over time is 90% of the base damage of the hit of fire damage (before increased and more multipliers and resistance calculations), per second. Therefore, over the base duration the target will take 360% of the base damage dealt.
An entity can take damage from multiple Scorching Ray debuffs when inflicted by different exiles or totems. Each debuff gains stages individually, up to the maximum of 8.
A vaal gem that collected souls in an instance will keep these souls during a gem swap, a drop on the ground or putting it in the inventory afterwards. Party - All players near monsters killed gain the same number of vaal souls as if they had killed it alone.
