Going to be very hard to replace for 2 reasons. 1) he's a good DC 2) what coach in their right mind wants to coach for a lame duck head man in Franklin?
Hopefully we can swoop in and take a recruit or two. Namely, Dwumfour from Depaul.

Chill.........he's interviewed on campus at LSU last year and didn't take it. I'd love for him to leave but I would be surprised if he did leave.

CNJKnight, why would you be surprised if he left? This is the second consecutive year he has interviewed for a dc job in the sec. It is obvious he is interested

Rabid Fan base who donates big and shows up happy valley was very impressive this past fall. Hopefully we can be like that one day. They can pay what they pay because they have it to pay. They had it before being a member of the BIG. The BIG money just helps them that much more.

I would rather our fan base not emulate those drones and not become a hive collective.

I would think he has to look seriously at this job...PSU is losing some of its POP on defense as DLine and Secondary graduate PLUS if I'm not mistaken Tn defense will be returning many of its starters

Because to be honest LSU is a bigger job than UT and prob more money and he stayed. He's a PA guy although his fam is still in Tenn from his Vandy days. I hope he leaves though.

He also knew he had a senior laden defense to work with (and to look impressive as a coach with). Don't be surprised if he jumps.

The BWI board thinks he's gone. Schools are going to attack all of their recruits and they will lose 2-4 more recruits on top of the 3 already. This will help Rutgers enormously.
IT's sounds like 5-7 wins is the best that Penn State can expect for next year with the Offensive and Defensive Coordinators gone with new ones starting their first year. 3 starting defensive linemen gone as well as 2 defensive backs. Starting a new QB and switching to spread offense in a season. The chain reaction will be a terrible recruiting class for 2017 and or Franklin termination in 2016 or 2017.

So Shoop flew the coop? Nice start to the weekend for RU. Time for Ash and team to work on a flip or two from PSU.

Actually, I lost a lot of respect for Shoop last year. The PSU D line had 3 studs and still gave up over 300 yards on the ground to tOSU. Northern Illinois, with a bunch of zero and 2 star recruits, defensed tOSU much better last year.

OSU does that to virtually everyone they play. I see what you're saying tho I mean I lost a lot of respect for those mighty RU running backs watching them get shut down for the second straight year against Shoop, especially watching a RU recommit run all over them.

At least those RU running backs won't be reminded they chose a school that puts football ahead of child's welfare. At least they have that over that RU de-commit.

Hey, PedophileSupporterfanfbl, this was about coaches, not players, and that was our problem last Sept 19, not our RBs. We all lost respect for our coaches, too, and that's why they are ALL gone now. Not hard shutting down RBs when the D knows what play is coming.
